Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Weld & Robotics Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing robotic welding systems and related equipment. Your expertise will ensure smooth production processes, high-quality output, and continuous improvement in our stamping operations.
Duties
- Perform installation, calibration, and routine maintenance of robotic welding equipment and automation systems
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues with robots and associated machinery
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and AutoCAD drawings to diagnose problems effectively
- Adjust sensors, actuators, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize system performance
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve process efficiency and safety standards
- Document maintenance activities, system modifications, and repair procedures thoroughly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance with a focus on welding or automation systems
- Strong electrical experience, including working with low voltage systems and sensors
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and CNC machinery
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics interpretation
- Familiarity with AutoCAD for reading technical drawings and layouts
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent customer service skills for effective communication across teams
