Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Care Technician to join our dynamic landscape maintenance team. Responsibilities
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to maintain healthy and attractive turf.
- Operate hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and blowers to carry out landscape tasks efficiently.
- Use power tools including trimmers, blowers, and lawn aerators to complete various maintenance projects.
- Assist with landscape installation projects involving hardscape features like patios or walkways.
- Conduct tree care activities such as pruning, trimming, and planting to promote tree health and safety.
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments.
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscaping equipment and hand tools.
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care practices is advantageous.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in various outdoor conditions.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in different weather conditions while standing, bending, or lifting for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
