VCS is currently hiring experienced Gate Leads to join our team for one of the largest FIFA 2026 Fan Festival sites in Canada.
This is not an entry level position. We are looking for confident leaders with a minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory experience in events, hospitality, operations, logistics, security, or customer service. Successful candidates must be capable of leading teams, making decisions under pressure, and managing high volume guest entry points independently.
Position Details
- Location: PNE, Vancouver
- Hiring: Gate Leads
- Start Date: ASAP
- Event Dates: June 19 – July 19, 2026
- Shift Length: Approximately 7-10 hours
- Start Times: Around 9:00 AM (varies by event day)

Responsibilities
- Lead all gate operations
- Conduct pre opening staff briefings
- Coordinate Volunteers, Ticketing, Security, and Guest Services teams
- Monitor guest flow, lineups, and queue management
- Act as the first point of escalation for gate-related issues
- Liaise with Security Management, Operations, and Fan Services
- Ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming guest experience
- Maintain professionalism while working in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of management or supervisory experience
- Experience leading teams in high-volume environments
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities
