The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) is currently seeking an outgoing individual with exceptional customer service skills for the position of Part-Time Clinic Receptionist to support the operations of Clinic Services. Situated on site, within the Schad Naturopathic Clinic (SNC), you will support the SNC, CCNM Integrative Cancer Center (ICC), and our shifts within the Community Health Centres (CHC).
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Clinic Operations Coordinator, acting as the first point of contact for all patients, student interns, and naturopathic doctors. This person will provide a friendly and invitational atmosphere online through remote work or onsite at reception to ensure that everyone is attended to in a pleasant and efficient manner. Working in a team environment you will: answer and direct calls; check voicemail and respond to messages in a timely fashion; write and distribute email correspondence; organize and schedule appointments; maintain patient relations; collect fees for services rendered; support the maintenance and up keep of our electronic health records. Provide support to both student interns and naturopathic doctors in different areas of their clinical work. Additional clinical administrative tasks may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.
As this position provides coverage, as well as some regular shifts, the successful candidate must be flexible and able to work within the clinics operating hours (Mondays to Friday, 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM and Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
This position requires you to be on-site.
QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working in a customer service environment, and/or experience in a medical clinic

Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

Proficiency in MS Office (particularly in MS Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and superior customer service skills

Superior verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Strong ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Experience working in an educational environment is an asset
CCNM follows government or site-specific requirements with respect to vaccination and proof may be required based on the nature of the role
