Motion Auto is a family-owned, independent automotive shop in Edmonton specializing in German vehicles, diesel engines, performance builds, and everyday drivers. From Mercedes to Bentley, no two days are the same—and that’s exactly how we like it.
We’re looking for a skilled Automotive Technician or a motivated 3rd-year Apprentice to join our growing team. If you take pride in your work, enjoy solving complex mechanical challenges, and want exposure to a wide range of vehicles, this is the place for you.

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, inspections, etc.)
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues across a variety of makes and models
- Work on German vehicles, diesel engines, and performance builds
- Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with the team to deliver top-tier service to our customers
What We’re Looking For
- 3rd-year Apprentice or fully licensed Automotive Service Technician
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Experience with European vehicles (especially German makes) is an asset
- Diesel and performance experience is a bonus, but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license
