The role of Chief Intern will work directly with the Vice President, Business Solutions. Business Engagement is one of several teams reporting to the Vice President and is the bridge between our Business Units and Technology. Our role is to ensure that we assist in offering valuable solutions to our business partners that enhances and improves their business. The role is based out of our corporate head office in Brampton, Ontario at 1 President’s Choice Circle, with exposure to other office locations, such as Shoppers Drug Mart office in North York, Digital, PC Financial, and Joe Fresh offices downtown Toronto.
What You’ll Do:
Take direction from the Vice President to work on special projects. These special projects will be defined based on what is needed at the time. There is an opportunity to experiment, try new concepts all in the spirit of supporting new ways of working as we transform our thinking, people, processes and tools to enable our business.
Receive direct coaching and mentoring from the Vice President
Act as the communication vehicle for messages that need to be delivered organizationally in driving accountability and deliverables
Provide support to Leadership Team in creating and preparing materials to achieve defined outcomes
Work with the Business Engagement Team to capture, consolidate, and communicate information supporting projects and internal initiatives
Support the Customer Satisfaction process by conducting data analysis allowing for decision making and supporting action plan development
Organize and conduct project and portfolio meetings on a weekly cadence
Maintain and track logs of team initiatives and deliverables
Assist with the follow-up and tracking of project and portfolio action items
Have the opportunity to provide leadership to other interns and support other Business Engagement Leaders, as required
