Kelmar Ltd is a family owned, electrical and shallow utility company seeking a self-motivated, reliable equipment operators to join our team in Calgary. Our shallow utility department is a team that strives to provide services to new subdivisions in a safe and efficient manner. We are currently looking for backhoe and excavator operators to join our team.
A successful candidate :
- Must have previous experience installing shallow utilities.
- Must have relevant experience operating excavator, back hoe, skidsteer, mini hoe etc.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Able to work as a part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Class 3 with air brakes is an asset but not required.
- Clean driving record
- Be safety conscious.
- CSTS-20, Ground Disturbance 201 Certificates
Job tasks will include:
- inspections and daily maintenance of equipment;
- trench excavation, loading/unloading of trailers;
- material handling and snow removal with assigned machine;
- assist with labour tasks when required;
- live line excavation with spotters and;
- any other duties assigned by site foreman.
