Winstone Design is a Muskoka-based architectural planning and drafting studio specializing in exceptional homes, cottages, and waterfront properties. We're growing our team and looking for a talented Architectural Designer or Technologist to help bring our clients' vision to life across the region's most stunning lakefront settings.
The Role
We're seeking an intermediate-to-senior Architectural Designer/Technologist to join our team on a hybrid basis. You'll work on residential and cottage projects from concept through construction drawings, collaborating closely with clients, builders, and consultants.
What You'll Do
- Develop architectural design concepts, drawings, and construction documents for residential and waterfront projects
- Produce 3D models and photorealistic renderings to communicate design intent to clients
- Collaborate with our team through all phases of design — planning, permitting, and drafting
- Liaise with clients, builders, and municipal authorities as needed
What We're Looking For
- Experience as an Architectural Designer or Technologist (intermediate to senior level)
- ArchiCAD experience strongly preferred (Revit experience also considered — we're happy to train the right candidate on ArchiCAD)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Experience with Twinmotion or similar rendering software an asset
- BCIN certification an asset, not required
- Strong portfolio demonstrating residential/custom home design work
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work hybrid (in-office presence in Muskoka required)
