Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as 310T Apprentice (1st, 2nd, or 3rd year). This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in heavy equipment and automotive repair within a dynamic environment. The role provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills, gain industry knowledge, and work alongside experienced professionals. Candidates should have a strong interest in mechanical systems, industrial equipment, and maintenance operations. Prior experience or familiarity with tractor-trailer is a plus. Responsibilities
- Assist with the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of heavy equipment such as trucks, and trailers
- Support electrical and mechanical troubleshooting using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during repairs and assembly
- Conduct heavy lifting and assist with the assembly of machinery components
- Follow safety protocols while working with heavy equipment
- Collaborate with technicians to learn proper repair techniques and operational procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Current enrollment in or completion of relevant trade school programs preferred - or wanting to enroll with some mechanical back ground
- Hands-on experience welding, or automotive repair is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills in industrial maintenance and repair
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
- Good customer service skills are beneficial for interacting with clients or team members when necessary
- Prior experience is a plus
Pay: $27.50-$34.50 per hour
