Novalex Auto Parts is a locally owned and growing automotive parts supplier serving repair shops and automotive businesses throughout Winnipeg. We pride ourselves on providing fast, reliable service and building strong relationships with our customers.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking to add another part-time Delivery Driver (Possibly Thursday, Friday) to our team. We are a close-knit company where teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude matter just as much as experience. We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently while remaining connected and engaged with the rest of the team throughout the day.
The Delivery Driver is an entry level position and is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of automotive parts to customers throughout Winnipeg and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles while following all traffic laws and company policies.
- Deliver automotive parts to customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Verify orders and obtain customer signatures when required.
- Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding delivery status, customer requests, and route updates.
- Locate and pick parts from warehouse shelves accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with order preparation, staging, and organization of inventory.
- Pick up parts, returns, and supplies from vendors and customers as required.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle.
- Represent Novalex Auto Parts professionally when interacting with customers and the public.
- Assist with other warehouse and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Clean driving record.
- Previous delivery driving experience is considered an asset.
- Automotive parts knowledge is considered an asset but not required.
- Good knowledge of Winnipeg streets and routes.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and organized.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for communication and navigation.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs on a regular basis.
