Duties
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Abel 16.0 dental software
- Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
- Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication
- Ensure a clean and sterile work environment in compliance with infection control protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns
- Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Ontario
- Experience with Abel 16.0 dental management software preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is a plus
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude toward patients
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to educate and comfort patients of all ages

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
