Skyline Dental Associates is a high-performing, patient-centered practice providing comprehensive dental care to the Ottawa community. As our clinic continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced, mature, and dependable Dental Assistant to join our team.
This role is ideal for a candidate who is confident clinically and thrives in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who can contribute beyond chairside assisting and support overall clinic flow when needed.

Important Note:
We are specifically seeking an experienced candidate. This role is not suitable for entry-level applicants.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Future flexibility required (e.g., occasional late shifts)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical chairside assistance with efficiency and confidence
- Maintain strong knowledge of instrumentation and dental procedures
- Ensure treatment rooms are prepared according to infection control protocols
- Support a seamless patient experience from start to finish
- Contribute to overall clinic flow and team support when needed
- Maintain professionalism, organization, and attention to detail at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant (NDAEB required)
- Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience (required)
- Strong clinical skillset with the ability to work independently
- Experience in surgical procedures, endodontics, or advanced treatments is an asset
- Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Experience with Dentrix and digital scanning (iTero preferred)

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $25-$34/hour depending on skills and experience.
