Our client is a manufacturer of instrument panels as both a Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier to the automotive industry. We are currently looking for Production Team Members for all shifts, located in their facility in St. Mary’s, Ontario. Pay Rate: $21.32/ hour plus $0.65 shift premium on afternoons and midnights
Shifts Available:
- Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm
- Evening Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm
- Night Shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am
Please note: This position is considered a temporary assignment, as the schedule is made on a week to week basis (1 week at a time). That being said, there is potential for consistent, full-time hours as well as opportunities to get hired on permanently for standout employees.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Light to medium assembly of automotive interior products, primarily instrument panels
- Plastic injection mould related machine operation
- Work pace/repetitive movements includes part cycle times varying from 50 to 60 seconds per part at most workstations
- Standing/walking for up to 8 hours per day
- Lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling up to approximately 12 kg (26 pounds)
- Use of hand tools such as a screw gun, heat gun, trimming knife
- Using computers
