Sport Manitoba is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Facility Services Assistant with a passion for sports to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining a welcoming and professional environment—one that reflects our commitment to excellence and leaves a lasting, positive impression on all visitors and clients.
Reporting to the Facility Services Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
● Conduct regular facility inspections
● Manage parking operations
● Court & flex booking processes and management
● Invoicing and purchase order responsibilities connected to facility services
● Manage court attendants
● Update training manuals
● Assist with set-up, cleaning, and maintenance of facility spaces
Qualifications and Experience
●Completion of grade 12 education, some post-secondary preferred
● Related experience preferred.
● Excellent communication skills and customer service
● Ability to prioritize work and multi-task coinciding projects
● Competency with MS Office, Google Workspace, and scheduling/booking software.
● Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
Physical Requirements
● Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
● Ability to lift and carry equipment or supplies
● Comfortable performing light cleaning and set-up/take-down tasks
