Our salon is hiring Nails and Beauty Technicians
Lavish Nails & Head Spa is a new, beautifully designed salon specializing in acrylic and gel nails, manicures, pedicures, and head spa shampoo services, while also offering additional services such as facials and waxing.
Applicants must be legally permitted to work in Canada. Salary: $17–$20 per hour, 30–40 hours per week
Location: St. John’s, NL
Required Skills: Must have experience with Nails and Spa.

Job Description:
- Clean, trim, and polish nails
- Provide gel and acrylic nail extensions
- Perform nail art techniques
- Hair care, Signature Treatments, Massage & Relaxation
- Hygiene & Sanitation
- Sell salon products and services
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Perform cashiering duties
- Keep tools and workstations clean and sanitized
- Recommend nail colours and designs to clients
- Stay up to date with new trends and techniques
Requirements:
- Completion of high school, college, or beauty school programs for cosmeticians, estheticians, electrologists, and/or manicurists and pedicurists is required
- Experience as a Nail Technician is a strong asset; on site training will be provided
- Personal suitability: good judgement, organization, accuracy, excellent oral communication, initiative, teamwork, reliability, interpersonal awareness, flexibility, client focus, dependability, and effective interpersonal skills
- Working conditions and physical capabilities: repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination
- Work site environment: exposure to odours
- Language requirement: English

Important Information:
- Work schedule is Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday (10 am to 3 pm). Flexibility is required based on client appointments. Overtime may occasionally be required.
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
