Description:
We are seeking an experienced English Tutors to join our teams in Mississauga. This position is ideal for someone who can effectively teach and mentor students who need to advance their skills in English Reading and Writing, in both elementary and high school levels.
- Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with students.
- Assess students' current abilities and develop personalized learning plans.
- Teach fundamental concepts in Comprehension and Writing
- Provide regular progress reports to students and their parents/guardians.
Requirements:
- Canadian High School Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in English Language or related field (done or started)
- Proven experience as an English tutor, particularly with high school students.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and ability to motivate students.
Preferred Qualifications:
- able to teach other subjects.
- Experience with different learning styles and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
Schedule: Flexible hours, primarily after school and/ or on weekends. Must be available at least twice a week.
