Job: Experienced Hardscaper / Landscape Construction Specialist

You have experience working on landscape construction projects rather than lawn maintenance contracts. You understand how to properly build retaining walls, prepare bases, install interlock, and work with natural stone to create high-quality outdoor spaces. You take pride in craftsmanship and can contribute to luxury residential projects where attention to detail matters.
We are seeking an experienced Hardscaper/Landscape Construction Professional with proven experience building retaining walls, interlocking driveways, patios, walkways, and backyard hardscape features. This role is for candidates who have worked on landscape construction projects and can confidently perform skilled hardscape installations.
Applicants whose experience is limited to lawn mowing, grass cutting, garden maintenance, or basic landscaping will not be considered.

- Construct retaining walls using natural stone, armour stone, concrete block, and brick materials
- Install interlocking stone driveways, walkways, patios, steps, and backyard hardscape features
- Prepare and grade surfaces, including excavation, base preparation, compaction, and final finishing
- Cut, fit, and install interlocking stone and masonry products with precision
- Read site layouts and follow project specifications to ensure accurate installations
- Work with natural stone and landscape construction materials on custom residential projects
- Assist with select softscape tasks such as grading, planting, and sod installation when required
- Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on hardscape or landscape construction experience
- Proven experience building retaining walls and installing interlocking driveways, patios, and walkways
- Experience working with natural stone, brick, and other hardscape materials
- Strong understanding of grading, base preparation, drainage, and proper installation techniques
- Ability to work from plans, measurements, and project layouts
- Physically capable of lifting and handling heavy construction materials
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a professional crew
- Own transportation is considered an asset
