Job opening for Licenced Electrician - Journeyperson
Geographic Location: Toronto area
Job Description:
This position requires the ability and knowledge to install electrical wiring and systems for commercial and residential applications such as custom homes, schools, retail centers and storage facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Install wiring and equipment for distribution equipment, Panels, Disconnects, switchboards and transformers
- Layout, mark and install junction boxes for devises and lighting according to electrical drawings and specification
- Bend, fit and install EMT and PVC conduit
- Group, number and install electrical branch circuits wiring and feeders
- Trouble shoot and repair electrical circuits and devices
- Splice, join and connect electrical wires
- Final installation of electrical outlets, switches and lighting and controls
Qualifications:
- 309A Electrical Journyperson
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multitask
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Valid WHIMIS and Working at heights certificate
- Own hand tools, cordless drill, sawzal, muti-voltage tester
- Own PPE - Hard hat, safety boots, eye glass
