Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Appliance Sales Specialist to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers to showcase high-end appliances, providing expert product demos, and guiding clients through their purchasing decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for home renovation and construction projects. Multilingual capabilities and experience in retail or inside sales are highly valued. As an Appliance Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales growth through effective merchandising, upselling, and account management.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their appliance needs and recommend suitable products
- Conduct detailed product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits of high-end appliances
- Utilize POS systems for transactions, cash handling, and account management
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals
- Assist in merchandising displays to optimize product visibility and appeal
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Collaborate with renovation and construction teams to support project-specific appliance needs
- Leverage marketing strategies to attract new customers and promote special offers
- Use SketchUp or CAD tools for designing kitchen layouts or appliance placements when needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or inside sales within the appliance or home improvement industry
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell effectively
- Knowledge of renovation, construction, or merchandising is a plus
- Multilingual abilities, especially in English and other languages, are highly desirable
- Experience with product demos, account management, and customer service is preferred
- Skills in SketchUp or CAD software for design purposes are advantageous
- Excellent communication skills combined with organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts efficiently
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
