Job Overview
We are a growing landscape construction company looking to hire 1 experienced Interlock / Landscape Construction Labourer to join our team for the upcoming season. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with interlock, landscape construction, and concrete work, and be capable of assisting a small crew on residential projects
Site Preparation & Heavy Lifting
- Assist in site excavation, grading, and base preparation (gravel and sand) for interlock driveways, patios, and walkways.
- Safely load, unload, and move heavy materials, including interlocking pavers, bags of concrete, natural stone, and aggregates.
- Be able to lift 80+ Pounds while working consistently in outdoor weather.
- Operate power tools and machinery such as plate compactors, masonry saws, power blowers, and jackhammers with a focus on safety and tool maintenance.
Installation & Detail Work
- Support the lead installer in laying pavers according to specific patterns (herringbone, running bond, etc.) and ensuring tight, level joints.
- Assist with concrete pours, including setting forms, spreading, and finishing under the direction of the crew lead.
- Install edge restraints, polymer sand, and retaining wall units to ensure long-term structural integrity.
- Perform softscape tasks as needed, such as laying sod, spreading mulch, or planting, to give projects a finished, professional look.
Site Management & Safety
- Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris, sweeping finished surfaces, and ensuring all tools are accounted for at the end of the day.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE and practicing safe lifting techniques.
- Represent Precision Pavers Inc. professionally when interacting with clients or neighbors in the Toronto area.
