Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef/Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily restaurant operations. This role combines creative food preparation with effective team management, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the kitchen staff, including cooks, servers, and support personnel, to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high-quality standards
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety regulations and ensure proper sanitation practices
- Develop innovative menus that align with restaurant branding and customer preferences
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize profitability
- Ensure adherence to all food safety standards and health regulations
- Train new staff members and provide ongoing professional development for team members
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent service and serve guests efficiently
- Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, leadership, and hospitality excellence
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Extensive restaurant management experience with a focus on kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and food industry standards
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in hospitality or the food industry is highly desirable
- Ability to serve guests professionally while maintaining high standards of quality and service
