Job Overview
We are a Hospitality staffing firm seeking dynamic and energetic individuals to join our team. We are looking for the following Servers, Bartenders, Cooks and Dishwashers for our clients all throughout the Ottawa area. Ideal candidates will have previous hospitality experience, with delivering exceptional service, crafting delicious food and beverages, and ensuring our guests feel welcomed and valued. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the importance of professionalism and dedication in every task you undertake.
Previous experience in the following duties preferred
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items, ensuring quality standards are met and food safety protocols are followed.
- Mix and serve drinks responsibly as a bartender, engaging with guests to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, bar counters, and kitchen spaces in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to deliver timely service.
- Manage multiple responsibilities efficiently through excellent time management skills while providing outstanding customer service.
- Prepping and executing dishes to customer requests and as recipes state.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant settings with knowledge of food industry standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering functions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Experience in bartending, serving, or food handling with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and inventory purposes.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality service standards.
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
