The opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Safety Culture, this position will be primarily responsible for supporting the on-going delivery, development and enhancement of TC Energy’s Safety Culture Communications program. This involves living and promoting our number one core value – safety. This role enables safe, compliant, reliable and efficient operations with best-in-class project outcomes.
This position will require the candidate to leverage their expertise in digital communications and marketing and be a results-oriented team player keen to make an impact in their role, dedicated to ensuring our employees are always working in supportive, safe and healthy environments.
What you’ll do
Support the development of communications plans to enhance TC Energy’s internal safety culture
Assess stakeholders for specific communication and engagement requirements related to change in programs and policies
Create digital marketing and communication assets including presentations, website, videos, blogs and social media content
Coordinate virtual and in-person conference and educational event logistics and production of digital materials.
Website, governance, revision, creation and editing and Sharepoint management
Assist in the preparation and distribution of employee communications
Safety Culture Communication Projects planning and tracking
Minimum Qualifications
Completed a post-secondary degree in Digital Communications, Marketing, Public Relations. or other relevant university degree.
4 + years of demonstrated related experience
Strong all-round expertise in data analysis
Excellent writing and proof reading / editing skills
Strong ability to develop and deploy presentations and print material for education and communication purposes
Team player and detail oriented
Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and across all business units
Effective communication, writing and public speaking skills are essential
Self-motivated, driven to achieve operational excellence
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with website management
Experience with change management, public relations or behaviour based psychology
