Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, supporting the kitchen operations, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to restaurant standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Assist in plating dishes for service, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with various kitchen tasks
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers in accordance with health regulations
- Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding serving, food preparation, and safety protocols
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Experience with food handling, serving, and basic kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
