Overview
As an Enhanced Identity Interview Clerk (FLS), you will interview customers applying for enhanced documents such as an Enhanced Identity Card or an Enhanced Drivers Licence. Your role will also involve ensuring that all necessary documentation is provided, which you will then capture into the Electronic Document Management System. In some instances, you may be required to complete detailed reviews of identity and residency documents associated with basic and enhanced applications.

Responsibilities
Conduct visual and tactile review of documents, checking for appearance, visual and forensic security features, content and physical qualities and other fraudulent recognition tests.
Request additional documents as required and schedule follow-up visits if necessary.
Ensure all application and consent forms have been reviewed with applicant and receive voluntary sign-off.
Review and analyze evidence and make a decision on application status.
Inform the applicant of process and outcome.
Handle fraudulent identity documents according to established process and procedures.
Participate in ongoing training and education to upgrade skills and learn new processes and procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years office and customer service experience.
French Language Skills (FLS) required, minimum requirement of Intermediate 2.
Visual acuity must be correctable to 20/20 with lenses and be free of colour blindness.
Ability to work with a high degree of independence and confidentiality.
Demonstrated attention to detail and analytical ability.
Ability to verify information and note inconsistencies.
Superior oral communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required level of security clearance as a condition of employment in this classification including:
