Position summary
We are seeking an experienced aftersales manager with a deep technical expertise in filtration systems within the cement and mineral processing industries to drive market growth, build trust-based client relationships, and position Fives Solios corp as a partner of choice in the region.
In this strategic role, you will not only develop business opportunities but also oversee the successful execution of complex field repair projects, leveraging your industry insight, professional network, and expertise.
Key responsibilities
Business Development & Market Expansion

Use your industry experience and network to proactively identify new business opportunities, potential partnerships, and service needs in the cement and mineral sectors.

Convert technical insights into commercial opportunities, such as long-term service agreements, spare parts sales, and capital equipment upgrades.

Represent Fives Solios Inc at trade shows, technical conferences, and customer meetings to promote our field service capabilities and technical leadership.
Technical Consulting & Customer Engagement

Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, helping them understand the root causes of equipment inefficiencies and failures.

Deliver high-value technical presentations and diagnostics that demonstrate our capability to extend equipment life, reduce downtime, and optimize performance.

Assist customers in developing maintenance strategies, CAPEX planning, and upgrade roadmaps based on inspection findings and operational risk.
Technical & Operational Leadership

Lead field service operations related to the inspection, maintenance and repair of baghouses of several kinds

Conduct and interpret detailed mechanical inspections.

Troubleshoot complex mechanical failures and provide clients with expert recommendations for preventive or corrective maintenance.

Plan and oversee all aspects of project logistics, including scope definition, resource planning, subcontractor coordination, and safety compliance.

Supervise skilled field teams (mechanics, welders, technicians) ensuring project execution meets or exceeds technical standards, safety protocols, and client expectations.

Ensure all work complies with industry codes (e.g., ASME), OEM specifications, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, MSHA). MSHA Surface Part 48 Certification required and will be paid by Fives.

Contribute to market intelligence by monitoring competitor activity, emerging technologies, and customer trends.
Leadership & Mentorship

Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and field service partners on a day-to-day basis, providing technical direction and ensuring work is executed professionally, safely, and in accordance with project requirements.

Foster a strong safety culture and uphold Fives Solios values in all interactions, both internally and externally.
Required Qualifications

Minimum 7–10 years of hands-on experience in field service, maintenance, and repair of baghouse equipment, preferably in the cement, lime, or mineral processing industry.

Proven track record of supervising external technical teams in complex, high-risk field environments.

Strong mechanical understanding of heavy industrial equipment, with the ability to read technical drawings and perform data analysis.

Fluent in safety standards (OSHA, MSHA) and capable of enforcing safety protocols rigorously.

Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles, with the ability to build rapport, inspire confidence, and deliver impactful technical and commercial recommendations.

Valid US driver’s license and ability to travel extensively (up to 75%), including extended stays on customer sites.

Ability to perform tasks and duties at industrial job sites for extended hours, climbing on and entering industrial equipment for visual inspections and light to moderate weightlifting

Outstanding time management skills and organizational skills while organizing your own travel plans, proper reporting to internal stakeholders, proper interactions and following up with customers, and closing the sale on those identified target opportunities.

Ability to influence and coordinate external and also internal stakeholders, utilizing excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

Ability and willingness to work in multi-cultural inter-disciplinary teams including the main offices in Canada (Fives Solios Inc).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of preparing high-quality reports, presentations, and proposals in English language.
Preferred Qualifications

Background in business development or technical sales, with experience developing key accounts and growing market share.

Established network within the cement, lime, and mining industries in USA

Experience working for an OEM, field service company, or industrial contractor specializing in rotary kilns, ball mills, baghouses and other heavy industrial equipment.
