We are currently looking for a talented and detail-oriented Production Drawing Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and motivated individual with a passion for signage design and production drawings. This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will assist in creating designs, preparing production drawings, and supporting the execution of signage projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing high-quality signage solutions that align with client branding and specifications, and work with the sales team to develop effective designs.
- Work closely with the production team to create and refine production drawings and specifications for fabrication and installation.
- Prepare artwork for large format printing, vinyl cutting, CNC programming, and other manufacturing processes.
- Operation of Machinery - CNC Router and Laser
- Ensure compliance with signage regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
- Basic experience or relevant education in graphic design, signage design and production drawings.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and CorelDRAW.
- Familiarity with CAD-type software (such as AutoCAD, Flexi, EnRoute, and VCarve) for production drawings is a plus.
- Understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and large-format printing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within brand guidelines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
