Kidsmith Speech and Language Services is a boutique private practice in the heart of Bloor West Village (West-End Toronto) that works with children from birth through to school age on a variety of communication skills. We offer a variety of session formats in our clinic, including 1-to-1, small groups, baby groups, summer camps and local in-school/daycare services as needed.
We are seeking an experienced (4+ years) SLP who upholds family-centric care and multi-disciplinary collaboration at the core of their clinical approach to join our growing team.
Flexible starting part-time commitment for the ideal candidate, from as little as 1, up to 5+ days a week. We are hiring for our upcoming busy fall schedule and would prefer a minimum commitment of 10 billable hours per week, but are flexible on this. You will also have the opportunity to grow from part-time into full-time if interested.

Collaboration is at the core of what we do for optimal client-therapy delivery. You will have the support and opportunity to collaborate with the experienced Kidsmith team along with our community/industry partners. We formally meet as a group to discuss client treatment every week. Informal discussions and ideas are shared continously.
We are conveniently located directly on the Bloor subway line, a short walk from both Jane and Runnymede subway stations.
As a Speech Language Pathologist, the successful candidate will:
- Conduct speech, language and literacy screening and/or formal assessments for toddler, pre-school, and school aged population
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with the Kidsmith team and our community/industry partners
- Maintain records using our electronic charting system (Jane), in accordance with CASLPO regulations
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrate excellent initiative and time management skills
- Interest or experience in Literacy and Autism is an asset
