Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have experience with pile driving, bridge construction, marine work, concrete formwork, rigging, heavy equipment operation and or other aspects of heavy construction. The work is typically crane and heavy equipment related, of which we have a large fleet, including cranes up to 250T, pile driving hammers, drill rigs, excavators, a smaller equipment. Rigging and pile driving will feature heavily, but there will also be many other construction aspects involved depending on the specific project. Operation of mobile equipment will also be a component.

Qualifications:
- Piledriver/Bridgeman Certificate of Qualification preferred. Welding or Carpentry also considered.
- 2+ years experience in heavy construction.
- Experience with pile driving is an asset.
- Experience with rigging and cranes is an asset.
- Experience with mobile equipment is an asset.
- Experience with carpentry is an asset.
- Experience with welding is an asset.
- Ability to supervise or manage others is an asset.
Compensation:
Based on the individual’s abilities, experience, and level of training completed. Typical heavy construction experienced ticketed journeyman wage is +/- $55.00 per hour for reference. Foreman and supervisor level opportunities also available. Junior or entry level positions may also available to suitable persons.
