Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lumber Construction and Landscaping professional to join our team. This role involves working on a variety of outdoor projects, including construction, landscaping, and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with lumber construction and a willingness to learn landscape construction and maintenance using various tools and machinery. Duties
- Assist with lumber construction projects, including framing, decking, and fencing
- Perform landscaping tasks such as planting, pruning, and lawn care
- Operate equipment including excavators and other mechanical tools for site preparation and construction
- Install irrigation systems and manage garden layouts
- Maintain and repair gardening tools, power tools, and other equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Conduct routine landscape maintenance to ensure aesthetic appeal and health of plantings
- Support general site cleanup, material handling, and project organization
- Follow safety protocols during all construction and landscaping activities
Requirements
- Prior experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is preferred
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening practices, horticulture, and landscape maintenance is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to tool repair and maintenance is a plus
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and landscaping projects
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team on multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license preferred for equipment operation or site access purposes
