Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This vital role is responsible for ensuring that our clinic operates smoothly and efficiently, providing an exceptional experience for our clients and their pets. As the face of our clinic, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for outstanding client service and high-quality veterinary care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Service: Deliver exceptional client service by effectively managing client interactions, promptly addressing concerns, and creating a welcoming and supportive environment for pet owners.
- Patient Triage: Take the lead in our walk-in triage process, assessing patient priority and directing veterinary care to ensure timely and appropriate treatment for every pet.
- Workflow Optimization: Continually evaluate and improve clinic workflows to increase efficiency, reduce wait times, and enhance the overall quality of care.
- Communication: Serve as the communication hub for our daytime staff, ensuring seamless coordination within the team and effective handover of patients and information to our evening staff.
- Quality Control: Vigilantly monitor and uphold the clinic's standards of care, ensuring that our facilities are clean, patients are handled with the utmost care, and all medical protocols are strictly followed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer service or reception, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate and positive attitude towards animals and their owners.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
