Assignment:

Part-time 0.40 Educational Assistant position

Two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday)
Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year

- To provide support and assistance to diverse learners in a one-on-one setting, in small groups, and within the classroom
Qualifications and/or Assets:

Experience/Background working with academic and/or behavioural needs

Ability to work one-on-one with a student in an inclusive environment

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Work harmoniously with teachers and other support staff
- Flexibility to work in a variety of programs and assigned duties

Calm and patient approach to solving problems

Reliability and eager to learn would be considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented learning environment

Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and patience

Background and/or Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset
