Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and energetic Kitchen Crew members to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the food industry and develop culinary skills in a fast-paced setting. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The Kitchen Crew plays a vital role in delivering quality food and exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and standards
- Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices during meal preparation and service
- Support food presentation and portioning to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas
- Follow safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment operation
- Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or food service environment is a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food safety practices is desirable
- Experience with food handling, serving, or kitchen operations will be advantageous
- Willingness to learn new skills and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Basic knowledge of the food industry standards related to cleanliness, safety, and customer service
