Private Family Chef – Niagara Region (Lincoln/Vineland, ON)
We're a busy family of four (2 working professionals, 2 boys ages 5 and 2.5) looking for a private chef to join our household Monday to Friday, 20-40 hours per week.
We value healthy eating and staying fit as a family. This role is a real fit for someone who wants ownership over our kitchen and our nutrition, not just someone punching a clock.
What you'll own:
- All 3 meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Kids' lunches, packed and ready to go
- Dinner ready to heat and serve when we get home
- Full clean-up after every cook. Kitchen left spotless
- Occasional full sit-down dinners for family or small gatherings
- Grocery shopping and ingredient sourcing (or work off a list with us)
- Menu planning built around high-protein, high-fiber, whole foods, minimal processed ingredients
What you bring:
- Culinary training or equivalent hands-on experience. Strong recent grads welcome
- Comfort cooking for a family with young kids, balancing adult and kid-friendly meals
- Reliability. This is a daily role in our home, punctuality and consistency matter
- Ability to work independently once menu direction is set
- Food safety knowledge and clean kitchen habits as standard, not a bonus
The details:
- Location: Lincoln/Vineland, ON (Niagara region)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 20-40 hrs/week. Open to a 7am-2pm block, a split shift, or closer to full-time, depending on the right person
- Pay: $22-$26/hour to start, with room to grow based on performance and fit. Open to salary structure for the right candidate. Grocery budget provided separately
- Start date: Immediate
- Trial period: 2-4 weeks to confirm fit
