G Class Driver – Hamilton, ON
(Minimum 2 years of 5-ton truck experience required)
Rate: $26.66 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM
Cardinal Couriers is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team. This position involves loading deliveries into a company vehicle and completing a designated route to ensure all deliveries are made safely and on schedule. It is a fast-paced, physically demanding role that includes driving, lifting, and handling packages to maintain damage-free delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Complete deliveries and pickups accurately and within required timelines.
- Load and unload packages onto the assigned vehicle.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Operate company equipment safely at all times.
- Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork to the Night Supervisor or Operations Manager.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
Qualifications:
- Valid G Class driver’s licence (minimum 2 years).
- 2–3 years of commercial driving experience (5-ton truck required).
- Clean driver abstract and CVOR.
- Clear criminal background check.
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
