The search is on for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and experienced Full-time Team Leader to provide strong mentorship and leadership to a diverse, committed, and caring staffing team. This position is in a residential setting. This position offers 40 hrs a week. Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm with some flexibility based on the needs of the Individuals.
You would be responsible for a staff team supporting three older gentlemen in their home. The home is on the East side of the city. Getting out to access the community, spending time outdoors and spending time with family are all very important to each of the men. One of the men requires a wheelchair and needs staff with an understanding of accessibility issues. Candidates with a good grasp of ASL will be preferred.
Strong documentation skills, and leadership experience will be considered an asset. As a Team leader you will be expected to perform administrative tasks. Strong computer skills understanding of payroll and documentation skills are required. Experience with diabetes care will be considered an asset. All applicants must have a vehicle. The focus of this position will be to help all of the individuals access the community to do the things they enjoy.
A Vehicle is required, along with $1 million liability Insurance in your name and a clear driver’s Abstract.
All travel expenses will be claimed via T2200 with your annual tax return.
The successful applicant must provide a current clear Criminal Record Check with the Vulnerable Sector Search current within six months.
Starting wage range for this position is $25.43 to $28.08 per hour and is commensurate with education and experience. SKILLS’ offers paid in-house training to employees.
