Some of what you will do
As the Transformation Specialist, Operations, you support the promise of work, learn, grow for our customers by collaborating with the National Manager, Transformation Operations, the Specialist assists in developing, promoting and executing the transformation strategy and vision in conjunction with company objectives and in partnership with field and corporate partners. You will partner in the successful execution of business operations in national transformation stores. You will also work in collaboration with Field and Home office partners by supporting teams with analytical and consultative information that is important to the execution of the working and learning strategies in transformation stores. With a large scope of impact and partnerships with a variety of stakeholders, each day will be fast-paced, challenging, rewarding and meaningful.
Specifically, you will:
Collaborate with Field and Home Office partners to drive sales growth in transformational stores through the execution of the transformation strategy.
Support the Transformation teams that create and execute the transformation strategy in partnership with other departments.
Develop partnerships with retail and home office partners to leverage relationships that drive success of transformation initiatives and processes.
Support and collaborate with field partners to support ongoing development of a culture around Transformation, helping the National Transformation Manager, Operations bring the working and learning company to their markets with minimal variation on look and feel.
Identify, analyse & evaluate key performance indicators and recommend strategies and tactics that can help transformation stores achieve budgeted goals.
Participate and lead meetings with retail stake holders, home office partners to review business plans and results and generate actionable outputs.
Work with cross functional operations and home office teams to develop tools and tactics required by national transformation stores.
Review operational KPI's weekly and report deficiencies in stores to ensure immediate attention and follow up; partners with stakeholders on solutions at the direction of the National Transformation Manager, Operations
Involved in monitoring and providing input into potential revisions to operations and procedural manuals
Partner with the operations in field and home office to learn and find best practices, consolidates learning and communicates sharing of ideas throughout the company
Monitor and collect ongoing information on Individual markets and competitive activity within those markets directly as well as through the transformation teams and provides feedback to all home office stakeholders as requested. Identify and provide feedback on all factors impacting the business in transformation stores, including but not limited to, economic and cultural conditions, and delivers ad hoc reporting as required.
Some of what you need
2+ years progressive management experience, preferably in a retail environment
Experience in a transformational environment
Post-secondary education in a related field or discipline preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, influencing & negotiating skills to work with a variety of teams
Strong ability to effectively lead change
Strong analytical ability and business acumen
Demonstrated bias for action, attention to detail, effective prioritization and flawless execution
