Shelley Machine & Marine, a local family-owned business specializing in fabricating, CNC machining, manufacturing pressure vessels and Marine/Ship repair. We have seven-day service, including evenings and weekends, if needed, for emergency repairs.
We are seeking a Certified Millwright to perform all duties as assigned by supervision including, but not limited to, the following:
· Provide maintenance support to all areas of production ensuring both machines and facilities are maintained to operate in a safe and efficient manner
· Strong troubleshoot abilities to diagnose equipment failures routine and non-routine
· Reads manuals, blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
· Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems with regards to hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs
· Monitoring equipment for hazards, issues and quality of output
· Maintenance of bearings, gearboxes, belt conveyors
· Ability to assess, overhaul and rebuild various valves & pumps
· Available to work offsite at customer location or ship/vessel
· Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resources policies, and the Employee Handbook
· Analytical and mechanical problem-solving skills
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required
· High School/College Diploma
· Red Seal Certification, Industrial Mechanic Millwright
· Minimum 3-5 years manufacturing environment working with industrial machinery
· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
· Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, fit test training would be an asset

Competitive Wages from $30.00 - $40.00 depending on experience
