Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Freight Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for booking in orders to for freight and ensuring that all packages are processed efficiently within our warehouse environment when required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain operations and experience with a warehouse. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining the flow of materials and optimizing our logistics processes.
Duties
- Manage incoming and outgoing freight, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of packages.
- Answer incoming calls from customers;
- Place orders into our proprietary software system;
- Respond to income quotes and emails;
- Close out and bill daily completed jobs;
- Utilize warehouse our systems to monitor inventory levels and streamline operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor packages, drivers and collaborate with all our customers.
- Review and respond to all emails.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with freight operations, including package handling and shipping procedures.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and materials management best practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis skills to support operational improvements.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required;

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
