Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly to ensure cleanliness and availability for food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, floors, and storage spaces.
- Support food safety protocols by properly storing ingredients and disposing of waste.
- Help with setting up dining areas and clearing tables as needed during service hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods.
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with cooking, food preparation, or food handling is preferred but not required.
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
