Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of designated areas
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies promptly
- Schedule staff shifts and assign tasks based on operational needs
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage
- Enforce health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for all team members
- Collaborate with other departments to meet overall service goals and improve operational workflows
- Handle guest or client inquiries related to housekeeping services with professionalism and courtesy
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments, including hotel or industrial cleaning experience
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards
