- Annual and 6-month pumpjack inspections with requirement to work in a man basket at heights above 30′
- Perform Brake adjustments, motor alignments, belt changes, horse head alignments and polish rod respace/ reconnect.
- Document findings and fill out daily work sheets.
- Critical pumpjack maintenance
- Horse head removal/ install, motor replacement and providing work basket for other trades
- Wellhead tubing rotations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform corrective actions promptly.
- Perform routine lubrication and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts used, and issues identified.
- Follow SOP’s for a variety of maintenance tasks
- Participate in safety meeting and embrace associated programs
- Inspection of Pumpjack components
- Changing oil and greasing pumping units
- Preventative maintenance on pumping units
- Air brakes is an asset
- Experience operating a 8 Ton truck or equivalent including the use of rigging and a work basket
- Strong customer communication and time management.
- Successful completion of Boon’s pre-employment process, including drivers abstract, criminal check, drug & alcohol test and physical demands analysis
- Physically fit to complete a variety of outdoor maintenance tasks
- Meet bonafide occupational requirements of the job
- Great attitude with a willingness to engage and commit to safety
- Previous oilfield experience specifically in pumpjack maintenance is an asset
- Mechanically inclined
- H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, Gas Testing and CSO are minimum safety ticket requirements.
