The Opportunity
We are looking for a Registered Social Service Worker (RSSW) to join our team as an independent contractor.
This position is well suited to someone who has experience with children and youth or a strong interest in developing their clinical skills in this area.
Clinical training, supervision, and ongoing support will be provided. We are looking for someone who is open to learning and interested in developing competency in play-based, attachment-focused, trauma-informed, and creative approaches to supporting children and youth.
The role will primarily involve working directly with children and youth, with some involvement with parents and caregivers as appropriate.

Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be registered and in good standing as a Registered Social Service Worker (RSSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
- Have experience working with children, youth, and/or families
- Demonstrate an interest in child and youth mental health
- Be comfortable engaging children through play, creativity, and relationship-based approaches
- Be receptive to clinical supervision, feedback, and ongoing learning
- Demonstrate strong professional boundaries, reliability, and communication skills
- Be able to work independently while also participating as part of a collaborative team
- Be available for some after-school/evening appointments
Previous formal training in play therapy is not required. Training and clinical support will be provided.

Pay: $40.00-$90.00 per hour
