Front of House / Barista

Forno Cultura is looking for a warm, energetic, and detail-oriented Front of House / Barista to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys genuine hospitality, great coffee, exceptional food, and working in a fast-paced environment where quality matters.
You will be one of the faces of Forno Cultura, helping guests discover our products, preparing coffee and beverages, maintaining beautiful displays, and making sure the store feels welcoming, organized, and cared for throughout the day.
What You’ll Do
· Welcome and assist guests with warm, professional service.
· Prepare espresso-based drinks, coffee, and other beverages to Forno Cultura standards.
· Learn our breads, pastries, savoury foods, biscotti, specialty items, allergens, and seasonal products.
· Make thoughtful recommendations and help guests discover more of the Forno Cultura offering.
· Operate the POS accurately and efficiently.
· Keep displays full, clean, organized, and visually strong throughout the day.
· Replenish products, packaging, coffee supplies, and service areas proactively.
· Maintain clean counters, tables, glass, floors, service areas, and other guest-facing spaces.
· Follow food safety, allergen, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
· Support your teammates and communicate clearly during busy service periods.

Guests come first. Once they are taken care of, we focus on how the store looks. Operational tasks come after service and visual standards are under control.
What We’re Looking For
· Previous café, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or customer-service experience is an asset.
· Barista experience is an asset, but a strong willingness to learn is equally important.
· A genuine interest in coffee, food, baking, hospitality, and Italian food culture.
· Friendly, professional communication and a natural ability to connect with guests.
· Comfort working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
· Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
· An ability to take initiative, stay organized, and work as part of a team.
· Reliability, punctuality, professionalism, and openness to feedback.
