Position Summary
The hired candidate will be responsible for leading the client relationship on a line of business for our client in the financial services industry. They will be accountable for maintaining a high standard of client service, while identifying and acting on key business insights that drive results for both the agency and our clients.

Detailed Responsibilities
Demonstrate continued confidence and industry expertise as the day-to-day voice of the agency, acting as our clients strategic partner and subject matter expert in digital marketing, customer journey-based marketing, and marketing personalization
Showcase thought leadership by delivering insight and POV's beyond the client brief
Acquire in-depth knowledge of our clients business, key issues, competitive situation, and industry trends
Challenge the status quo to continually delivery the best results for the agency and the client
Act as a leader and facilitate agency to agency interaction with our clients' other vendors
Lead internal kick off meetings with department heads to determine resourcing needs
Partner with internal stakeholders to develop briefs
Provide invaluable feedback as the voice of the client throughout all stages of program execution
Accountability over program budgets and profitability, working with Project Management teams to optimize projects
Performance management of team followed by monthly check ins to ensure all parties are working towards our shared goals
Support organic development of incremental business within existing portfolios
Explore, internalize, and share with the team all best practices, learnings, and opportunities
Develop processes as needed based on client, opportunities, or desired outcomes
Elevate risks to appropriate contact to build solutions
Help develop, articulate, and adhere to agreed upon strategies
Develop an ability to provide a range of alternatives for client and agency decision-making, when needed

Minimum 7 years, 10 years preferred, within marketing industry
Client services in a digital agency environment preferred
Financial Services experience is preferred
Self motivator with strong organizational and time management skills
Experience with working to critical paths, budgeting, delegating, facilitating meetings, attention to detail, etc.
Self motivated with quantifiable success in retraining or growing client portfolios
Strong understanding of digital marketing and necessary business principles
Proven success leading a team
Strong understanding of the current media landscape and how to apply that understanding to holistic and integrated solutions for brands
Passionate towards building relationships with clients
