Salary Range: $48,458 - $60, 587 per annum (Commensurate with experience and consistent with the UHN Compensation Policy)

The Cancer Clinical Research Unit (CCRU) has a mandate to lead and promote clinical research within the PMH Cancer Program through standardization of processes and encouraging a culture of responsibility and accountability in clinical trials. The CCRU is looking to fill an number of positions in its new Study and Data Staff Pool. The Clinical Research Study Assistant’s will be trained to work within the diverse clinical research teams across the program.
Working under the direction of the Research Manager, the Clinical Research Study Assistant is responsible for assisting the inter-professional clinical research team in performing the study related tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in the assisting with the day-to-day activities of study maintenance assisting to the study teams in conducting research activities such as data entry, maintaining documents, remote monitoring, financial billing review, reimbursement, and other duties consistent with the job classification.
Qualifications:
At minimum, Community College Diploma in a health-related discipline, or equivalent
At minimum, three (3) to six (6) months of related work experience
Previous experience working in a health care environment is strongly preferred
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills required
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to set priorities and work independently with accuracy in a multitasking environment
Adheres to confidentiality policy for sensitive patient data and information
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others in the delivery of services
Strong proficiency with MS Office software, Word, Excel, Outlook
Team-oriented
