**Overview**
Join our dynamic team as an Air Duct Cleaning Technician and play a vital role in enhancing indoor air quality and maintaining clean, healthy environments for our clients across Qualicum Beach, Parksville, and the surrounding Vancouver Island area. **Compensation**
13% commission on daily sales generated — no cap on earnings. Motivated technicians who complete more jobs and upsell services (extra vents, dryer vent cleaning, add-ons) directly increase their take-home pay.
**Responsibilities**
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized cleaning equipment to thoroughly clean air ducts, vents, and HVAC systems
- Perform inspections of ductwork to identify blockages, mold, debris, or damage that require attention
- Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks related to air duct systems and surrounding areas
- Conduct commercial cleaning tasks to ensure optimal system performance and indoor air quality
- Safely manage heavy lifting of equipment and materials, and work comfortably in tight spaces such as crawlspaces and attics
- Communicate clearly with clients to explain services performed, answer questions, and provide professional customer service
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including inspection reports and service logs
**Requirements**
- Valid driver's license required, with a minimum of 3–5 years of clean driving history. A current driver's abstract (driving record) will be requested as proof prior to hiring.
- Prior custodial or facilities maintenance experience preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic cleaning equipment is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the workday
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
- Previous experience with HVAC systems is a plus but not required — training will be provided
