Summary
Join our team as a part-time Early Childhood Educator or Assistant (ECE/ECA) at Royal Academy Montessori Preschool in Canada. In this role, you will contribute to shaping a positive learning environment that supports children's growth and development in line with our educational values.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing Montessori-based activities tailored to children's developmental needs.
- Support classroom management and ensure a safe environment for all children.
- Engage with children through play, learning activities, and social interactions.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents to promote children's progress.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom setting.
- Support individualized learning plans for children with diverse needs.
- Contribute to creating an inclusive environment that respects each child's unique abilities.
- Various cleaning and cooking responsbilites
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in early childhood education or similar settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
- Relevant certifications or training in early childhood education preferred.
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Food Handlers Certification would be an asset
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
