Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a dynamic corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of accounting principles and experience with various accounting software platforms, including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft. As a Junior Accountant, you will support the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial activities.
Duties
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Support bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero.
- Help prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
- Assist with account analysis, budgeting, and auditing tasks to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support payroll processing and related functions within the finance department.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with team members on various financial projects, including account analysis and financial services support.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in financial data management.
- Ability to analyze financial information effectively and support budgeting activities.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prior internship or work experience in accounting or finance is a plus but not required.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
