As a Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of digital marketing and social media strategies for Skyline Group of Companies. The position is also responsible researching, recommending, and implementing paid and non-paid digital and social campaigns. The successful candidate will use their skills and experience to help grow the profile of each of the Skyline companies while supporting Skyline’s shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities.
What we are looking for:
Analytics of website traffic, performance and conversion rates are your “thing”.
Someone to keep things fresh and exciting for our audiences through maintenance and updating of current websites, microsites, and social channels
Proven success in developing, implementing, and monitoring social and content campaigns; you get a thrill out of driving growth, user acquisition, affinity, and relevancy for brands
Flexibility - not in a yoga kind of way, but more about being able to change gears quickly as our business needs evolve.
You have a comprehensive understanding of existing and emerging web technologies and the future landscape of the web, you are always coming up with the next best thing
Your colleagues would describe you as a Google Analytics and SEO expert
A proponent of continuous learning, staying abreast in the industry is of utmost importance to you
A sense of humour (not only do you think you're funny, but others do too!)
Minimum two (2) to three (3) years post-secondary education in business, marketing or communications combined with courses in digital marketing and analytics
Five (5) years of related experience required or equivalent combination of workplace experience and education.
